Solaris Urbino buses are powered by advanced engines supplied by DAF, Cummins or IVECO. The steering system is equipped with ZF Servocom 8098 hydraulic power steering. The Urbino is also equipped with the very efficient EBS system.

The electrical system is based on the CAN Bus system is compatible with the dashboardmounted driver information system which displays important parameters and provides information on the state of the vehicle‘s essential systems.
